Michael McCrystal fell in love with photography on a middle school trip to Washington D.C. He returned home and informed his parents “I want to be a photographer when I grow up!” That passion continued as he sought every opportunity to have a camera in his hands and to be around others who create amazing images. While earning his Bachelor’s in Fine Arts at the University of South Florida, Michael worked as a school photographer in addition to juggling assignments for the student newspaper and other local and regional publications. His career has covered a wide variety of genres in photography, but the things that give him the most joy are the countless images he has made for families to celebrate the most important moments of their lives like weddings, family portraits and children’s portraits. Since 2011, Michael has been a Territory Manager for Strawbridge Studios. He and his team are committed to growing and serving the staff, students, and families at each of their schools more and more each day. Even after all these years in photography, he is still seeking every opportunity to have a camera in his hands and to grow as a photographer. Michael has been married to his high school sweetheart, Jennifer, for 25 years. Together, they have two children, Mary Kate and Benjamin.
